The CC599 message across the EU

CC599 is the EU-wide designation of the export-confirmation message in the Automated Export System. Whichever member state you export from, the flow ends the same way: the goods leave the EU and a CC599C message confirms it.

Is the CC599 message the same in every EU country?

Yes — AES is an EU-wide system, so the message structure and meaning are common. National systems (ATLAS, AES/ECS2 Plus and others) all issue the same confirmation.

How does CC599 relate to IE599?

IE599 was the equivalent message in the previous ECS generation. Documents and people often still say IE599 while systems now send CC599C.

Can I check a declaration from any member state?

Yes — the European Commission's MRN follow-up covers export declarations EU-wide, and this checker reads that same public source.
